Between 1982 -1991, I served as Pastor of a large parish in Austin, Texas. Part of ongoing maintenance for the classic-style church, was periodic restoration of furnishings such as Statues and Stations of the Cross.

Eduardo provided affordable and dependable service for this work.

In 1989 – 1991, our Diocesan Bishop assigned me as a Spiritual Father over Eduardo’s Religious works of Art and Writings. I also blessed all of the religious orders before mailing them out.

“ Eduardo’s works are very inspiring,
  as he has received: “

“Artist Captures Mary’s Heart”… Eduardo’s portrait is extra special!

I truly believe the Queen of Peace portrait, was inspired by the Holy Spirit. In my possession, I have one of the gold duo-tone portraits that show the definite outline of a “tear” coming down the left cheek.

We are grateful for the opportunity to again make known the mysterious and wonderful miracles connected with Mary’s appearance in Medjugorje. This is the reason we have published this story in our column newsletter.

While at the time of my service order in 2003 at St. Michael Catholic
Church in Cuero, Texas. I had the privilege to commission Ed Esparza for a much needed renovation and a complete restoration of the total sanctuary  interior.

Since I was being transferred to St. John Bosco Mission in Vanderbilt where I am now, I had a number of deadlines I needed to meet before leaving St. Michaels such as weddings and other ceremony services. He met every expectation. He took this huge endeavor and less than 4 weeks it was completed.
We were still able to celebrate our Sunday services while the
restoration took place. He did an outstanding job beyond the congregation expectations and the design to the church to this day stands just as refreshing and beautiful as it was back then.

Thank you for your great service as I highly commend you for it.

After praying with a visionary about what to do for the front cover of my new up and coming book, “Call of the Ages”, a message given to the visionary from the Blessed Virgin Mary was, “that she wanted her artist, Eduardo Nandin Esparza, in Texas whom she found favor on, to use her image that he had painted for the front cover of the book”.

Through some research, I finally located Eduardo in Texas. I traveled to meet with him and we all were blessed and pleased to follow through with what Our Lady had requested.

I am also an art collector of numerous oil paintings of Eduardo’s works:
- Veronica’s Veil,
- Mary Magdalene and the Empty Tomb
- Our Lady of Czestochowa, and other fine art.

I am very pleased to have Our Lady’s image on the front cover of my book and also featured on my Queen of Peace Newspaper with Our Lady’s message.
